What do you get for your donations?
We appreciate any and all donations large and small.
Unlike some organizations, we will give you something in return for your tax deductible donations. It starts with a great festival that can be enjoyed by all.
Donations and Sponsorships.
We are a veteran owned and operated non-profit organization. Like most non-profit organizations we started with just a few small donations. We rely on donations to operate.
Our goal is to provide the best Celtic festival possible for our community. We are determined to make that happen. We have asked and received donations from several businesses and other organizations. We still have not reached the amount required to hold our event.
What are our expenses?
We must pay out for many things. The event venue, garbage removal, portable toilets, the many athletes, judges, officials, dancers, and live entertainers, and insurance just to mention a few. There is nothing worse than going to an event that cut corners on things such as the portable toilets. I would rather not spend my time standing in line to use a toilet that has been overused!
What is our income?
We will get revenue in many ways. We will get money from ticket sales, tee shirt sales, beverage sales, raffle tickets, vendor fees, and fundraisers. The problem is, we won’t have this revenue until after the festival. That is why we need donations.
What happens to any surplus money?
This will be an annual event. We will use all moneys for future events. Every penny of our donations goes directly into the festival and the promotion of our events. We will increase our advertising budget in order to offer more of an advertising campaign for future donors and sponsors. Our event will provide a lot of great entertainment. We have live bands, Highland dancing, rugby games, Highland games, food and drinks, arts, crafts, and merchandise vendors. We have sheep herding, Highland cows, and blacksmiths. We entertainment and activities for everyone. We are estimating anywhere from 2000 to 3000 guests our second year.
We are a non-profit, so your donations are tax deductible. We will provide a lot of advertising for your dollar. We have put together an advertising campaign to get the word out about our event. We can advertise your company or organization at the same time. We will run the advertisements for several months at a time. We can and are willing to work with anyone. All advertising will begin as soon as the donation is given. The advertisements will remain on all our materials and platforms until August of 2024. All donors will be offered a chance to renew or replace their sponsorship for the 2024 festival. If renewed, all advertisements will continue to run until August of 2025. Sponsors that do not renew will be removed at the end of August each year. Advertising opportunities will improve as our festival grows.Your sponsorship can be event specific. If you would like to sponsor one event such as the 5K run, we will advertise you as that event’s sponsor.
