West Virginia Wild and Wonderful Celtic Festival & Highland Games

Saturday, June 20, 2026 — West Virginia Day
4H Camp Pioneer, Beverly, West Virginia


We are honored to welcome you to our fourth annual celebration of Celtic heritage held on West Virginia Day, the anniversary of our state's founding in 1863. Last year's Clan Village was our largest yet, with proud families and societies from across the region sharing their legacy, stories, and traditions. This year, we are aiming even higher—and we would love to see your Clan among the growing tapestry of Celtic pride. We are also proud to recognize Honor Clan MacDuff, who earned top honors in 2025 for their outstanding presentation, hospitality, and cultural engagement.

CLAN & SOCIETY PARTICIPATION:

Registration is free for all Clans and Societies. Please register by May 15, 2026, to receive One 10' x10'' frontage space for your tent and one additional 10' x 10' rear space (ideal for storage or hospitality).
Loading and unloading right at your site with parking close by.
Optional extra frontage space available for $35.00 each and must be requested by May 15, 2026.
All spaces are subject to availability. Late registrations will be accepted only if space remains.

ADMISSION TICKETS:

Each registered Clan/Society receives up to 4 complimentary festival tickets for booth staff. Additional tickets may be purchased for $5.00 each (include payment with registration).

Payment must accompany your registration to guarantee availability.



Setup Times:

Friday June 19, 2026, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Saturday June 20, 2026, Starting at 5:00 AM

Festival Schedule:

Friday Evening June 19. Gates open to the public at 6:00 PM Food vendors, drinks, and live music for early arrivals begins at 6:30 PM Entertainment will be provided until 10:00 PM
Saturday June 20 — West Virginia Day:
Gates open at 8:00 AM Festival begins at 9:00 AM. Most events close around 5:00 PM. Our beer garden, music stage, and some vendors may remain open into later in the evening Saturday.
Sunday June 21. Tear-down permitted until 2:00 PM

Clan Activities & Guidelines:

Participating Clans and Societies may share membership information, promote upcoming events, and collect mailing list sign-ups. Fundraising activities require prior approval.

Honor Clan Challenge:

Each year, one Clan is selected as Honor Clan—recognized for excellence in presentation, engagement, and embodiment of Celtic spirit. In 2025, Clan MacDuff set the standard. Will your Clan take the crown in 2026?

Kids' Passport Adventure:

Each child will receive a Festival Passport Booklet at the entrance. Children are encouraged to visit each Clan booth and collect a stamp or signature in their passport. Once their passport is complete, they will receive a prize for participating. Clan Representatives: Please be prepared to stamp or sign each child’s passport when they visit your booth. Let’s make this a fun and memorable experience for our youngest festivalgoers!

Whether you’re joining us for the day or camping for the weekend, your presence helps preserve heritage, build community, and honor West Virginia’s founding story. We look forward to celebrating with you. Celebrate West Virginia Day at the Fourth Annual Celtic Festival and Highland Games Hosted at 4-H Camp Pioneer in Beverly, West Virginia. Stay and play. Discover the best of our region—hiking, biking, fishing, and stunning mountain views. Explore historic landmarks, enjoy local hospitality, and immerse yourself in the legacy of Celtic immigrants who helped shape West Virginia. Or just relax in the quiet countryside and soak in the peaceful charm of Appalachia.
Continue the camaraderie. Reconnect with your Clan friends, kick back by a campfire, and toast your heritage under the stars. Share stories, laughter, and the spirit of community that makes this gathering unforgettable.

Camping Options:

RV Sites with Full Hookups – $40.00 per night. Reservations available through the 4-H Camp Pioneer website. Dry Camping and Tent Sites – FREE for all registered and participating Clans. Reservations available directly through the festival.

To secure your space please complete, sign, and submit the attached registration forms by May 15, 2026. Include any payment due for rentals and extra tickets. All participants must submit a signed liability waiver.
